This website was created to share some of my weird imaginings. Stories pulled from my life, the lives of others, and ones that only exist in my mind.
You can find those stories in my Novels, Podcast, called “Somestoriesofmine”, and on Youtube of the same name.
I hope to make you laugh, cry, scare and inspire you with these tales.
The stories that I write, are ones that were plucked from my imagination or from my night terrors. I needed an outlet, and this website is it.
You being here, tells me that you like that sort of thing. So, sit back and enjoy as I try to spin a good tale for you.

Jamaican Proverbs

I have compiled a few of our Jamaican Proverbs and Sayings. They are not as used in our day-to-day conversations like when I was a child. But growing up with these Proverbs and Sayings was so much fun to say and hear. They were used to guide us, and explain things without going into too much detail, because what these proverbs and sayings would invoke in our minds, would be enough to explain what was being said, and would guide us along our path.

BOOK ONE – THE HYBRED
The sirens blared, and the meteors exploded. Sending shards of asphalt and concrete up and out like dynamite. Flames from the meteors burnt hot and devoured everything up to thirty feet away. It shot up as high as the tenth floor.

My Life As A Stock Trader

As I watched my equity account balance shrinking with each second. I sat with my elbow resting on my desk holding my head, dumbfounded.
But this stock should have gone up. I did all my research and everything! But here it is not doing what I wanted it to do. “How dare it!!” I screamed inside my head. “The market should do what I say!”
Yeah right!! I thought I heard it answer back, as it followed up with a maniacal laugh.

Growing Up Jamaican

Growing up Jamaican, I was poor, but I didn’t know it. Everyone around me was in the same social class, and there were no evidence of differences among us.
We would make our own toys. Baseballs out of juice boxes, and bats made out of old broken boards. We would play with them with glee, because it never occurred to us, back then, that that was not the norm.
It was not until I was in High school, when I started to see other students in a different uniform everyday and me only having two, when I realized; I was broke.
